Does the car run. Have you tried taking the brake off or putting it in gear. In my GM car, if I start it with the parking brake on, the headlights stay off.

in my 2010, all I need to do is turn the switch on. It's on the left side of the steering column, marked with nice little pictures. If that doesn't work, it could be a bulb or a fuse. Take it to the dealer, or a mechanic, or ask a friend who knows how to check
