Car won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2010 Audi A4 Quattro won't start I can here it
triying to crank but then it doesn't at first I thought it
was the battery but after having it tested I learned
that, that wasn't my problem my next guess is that
it might be the fuel pump. So my question is how
much could it cost to fix and would it be to complex
to do it home ?

Fuel pumps are relatively inexpensive but if its in gas tank its a job you don't wanna do on the street, like I've done, lol. Before you do all that and guess, check for spark and check for fuel pressure. Don't guess!

If I could diagnose Audis from the internet, it would turn into a full time job, and I would start adding employees- you MUST have a good Audi specialist to take care of that beast- maybe just get rid of it and get something else that anybody can work on?

sorta like a ford you mean? funny thing about fords... they are the only thing i see in the repair shop half the time hehe. with alot of these later cars it could be alot of things as cars only get more complex as we progress. A good place to start is making sure you have good fuel pressure and spark and air flow. Also do you have a blue key symbol on your dash when you turn the car to power on as this would indicate an immobilizer. Every once and a while audis and vws get descended from their keys. if you been using low octane gas carbon could be an issue inside your engine. Using bore scope cam down a spark plug whole would help identify this issue.
