Pontiac wave 05 battery light on and steering wheel hard to move it

Just happened an hour ago my Pontiac wave 2005 , battery light is on and barely I can able
to move the steering wheel ... Someone who knows what's wrong with it??? Thxs

check your fan belts, sound like your alternator belt broke.
