Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my jimmy is 4x4 that is automatic and im not sure whats wrong I know it has something to do with the transmission. We were driving in the snow it just refused to go figured it was stuck, put it in reverse and it went fine. put it in drive and it acted as if it was in neutral. shifted it down and the only gear that it works in is first. we are fine on transmission fluid and in first gear has alot of power as does the 4wd any ideas i was told it could be the module any advice would be much appreciated

thanks

Julie

Take it to a ttransmission shop and have them drop the pan. If there is metal in it, Its time for a rebuild. How many kms/miles are on the truck?

50

I own a 2001. They're complete disasters. Hope you find a better machine soon.
