Can the v-8 oil pan be removed with the engine in the 1965 chevy II ?

Sure, but you may have to lift the engine up with a cherry picker or hoist with the hood off, to remove the oil pan tho.

You will have to remove the distributor cap, the exhaust, starter, fan shroud and possibly the fan, and any other things that can't stretch when pulling up on the engine. Should just pull the engine, it is easy to do in this car.
