Replacing a Chevy Nova Engine, Transmission & Carburetor

Asked by Meir Jan 06, 2021 at 09:09 PM about the 1977 Chevrolet Nova Concours Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it feasible replacing a 1977 Chevy Nova's engine, transmission and
carburetor with those from a 1972 Ford LTD?

I own both cars and would like to replace my 305 with the 438, if possible, if
my expenses are not great. Thanks!

That would be a weird swap which would be quite costly. Why not install a 350 instead? Ford never made a 438.
