The 2007 Ford Five Hundred remains unchanged from the successful 2006 model. The entry into the larger size sedan market, the 500 is very spacious and has a commanding view of the road. Though criticized by some for its bland styling, Ford may just be stealing a page from its subsidiary, Volvo, and applying some of the cleaner lines to its own vehicles.
Gas economy is good, and the price is right; Ford is striving to have the lowest-priced larger sedan. Estimates for this vehicle range from $22,500 to just under $29,000. The standard engine is a 3.0-liter 4V V6 Duratec, achieving 203 horsepower at 5750 rpm.
