The 2005 Ford Five Hundred is a large family sedan introduced as a replacement for the beloved Ford Taurus. It's bigger, though, and sturdier - almost as big as the Crown Victoria, with a hefty curb weight of 3,364 pounds. Three trim levels are available for the 2005 Ford Five Hundred: the base SE model, SEL, and Limited. All trims are offered in two-wheel and all-wheel drive versions. And for a full-size sedan, the Ford Five Hundred doesn't have bad gas mileage, either. The EPA estimates it at 20 mpg city, 27 mpg highway - not the most fuel-efficient vehicle, but green as grass compared to most SUVs on the market.
