What’s New for the 2027 Infiniti QX60
With a new powertrain in 2025 and a comprehensive refresh in 2026, the Infiniti QX60 rolls into 2027 with a few minor packaging and content updates. It’s still offered in four trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Autograph. Last year, the QX60 came standard with 20-inch wheels, but the base 2027 QX60 Pure now rides on 18-inch alloys.
Design
The QX60’s boldest styling elements are its large front grille and driving lights that are shaped like "digital piano keys," according to Infiniti. Certain Sport models and all Autograph models can be ordered in two-tone paint colors with a black roof. Sport models also get more blacked-out exterior trim to go with a unique grille mesh insert.
Powertrain
When the second-generation QX60 was launched in 2022, it came with a V6 engine. In 2025, Infiniti swapped its V6 for a turbocharged four-cylinder with a variable compression ratio for improved efficiency. While outright power dropped by 27 horsepower, torque was up by 16 pound-feet. The VC-Turbo engine remains the only powerplant offered in the 2027 QX60, and sends 268 hp and 296 lb-ft to either the front wheels or optionally to all four. A nine-speed automatic transmission is used in all trim levels. According to the EPA, the front-wheel-drive (FWD) 2027 Infiniti QX60 is rated at 22 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg combined. With all-wheel drive (AWD), the QX60 gets 21 mpg city, 27 highway, and 24 combined. Properly equipped, the QX60 can tow up to 6,000 pounds, which is a solid rating for the midsize three-row luxury SUV segment.
Interior
The 2027 QX60 has a classy, upscale cabin, with smooth lines and high-quality materials everywhere passengers are likely to touch. Pure and Luxe models can seat up to seven thanks to a second-row bench, but the Sport and Autograph come standard with second-row captain’s chairs that reduce capacity to six. QX60 Autograph models get the fanciest materials inside, with open-pore ash wood trim featuring laser-etched metal inlays, as well as semi-aniline leather with ripple stitching and perforation patterns.
Technology
A pair of 12.3-inch digital displays are set into the QX60’s dashboard, one serving as a digital display cluster and the other as a touchscreen infotainment system. With Google built-in tech, Infiniti’s infotainment software includes Google Maps, access to the Google Play app store, and Google Assistant voice control. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard and Autograph models come standard with a 10.8-inch color head-up display. Luxe and Sport models feature a Klipsch audio system with 16 speakers, one of which is an 8-inch subwoofer. The QX60 Autograph gets a Klipsch Reference Premiere system with 20 speakers and a 24-channel amplifier, plus an Individual Audio system that allows the driver to listen to their own audio, including voice calls and navigation instructions, while the rest of the cabin hears a different source.
