What’s New for the 2026 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron
Now in its fifth year, the 2026 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron adds standard and available features to its top Premium Plus trim, while the base Premium trim remains unchanged. Newly available features include a Vision package with a head-up display, headlight washers, and LED matrix-design headlights. The Black styling package has been updated with black exterior trim, badging, and grille emblems.
Design
Though the Q4 e-tron is also available as a regular crossover, the Sportback version’s raked roofline creates a sportier look, flowing into a stubby rear deck with a neat little spoiler. This year, it’s available with matrix-design LED headlights and a Black optic package that adds blacked-out exterior trim and badging. A set of graphite-gray 20-inch alloy wheels is standard, and a couple of 21-inch wheel designs are available.
Powertrain
The Q4 Sportback e-tron is available in two trim levels, but they share a powertrain, which comprises a pair of electric motors and an 82-kWh battery pack good for 335 horsepower and an estimated five-second 0–60 mph time. A single-speed transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD) are standard. The EPA estimates a range of up to 258 miles, which is on the low side for this class. Audi says the battery can charge from 10–80% in 28 minutes, but it’s limited to Level 2 charging.

Interior
The Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron seats five passengers across its two rows, though tall rear passengers may feel a bit cramped under the raked roofline. While the Sportback version has less headroom than the regular Q4 e-tron, it has almost 1.5 cubic feet more cargo space measuring 26.1 cubic feet and expands to a maximum of 54.4 cubic feet with the second row folded down. Standard features include leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
Technology
An 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display comes standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The Q4 Sportback e-tron also features Audi’s Virtual Cockpit—a customizable digital instrument display. It’s available with augmented reality navigation and a premium Sonos audio system. The infotainment system is generally user-friendly, but Audi has removed some of the most frequently used physical controls, such as the volume knob, which can be frustrating.
