The kia Sorento is a vehicle I cant help but feel nostalgic about. Absolutely the best I have ever owned. 2011 was my baby. Two n half years I paid it off n yall... Not one breakdown not even a flat tire ikr. On one rainy night heading to work my Sorento saved me with her safety features. Full donut in road facing when stopped the exact opposite direction! But safe n sound. And still on the road as if Id just pulled over to talk on phone or something. Yep... Kinda want another... One I know I can trust... ❤️Aug 04, 2023

I have never had an issue with acceleration or braking. The handling is superb in every way. The sunroof makes it fun to drive on a spring or summer or fall day. I have never had any maintenance issues whatsoever with this vehicle. It is a great all around car - especially for families or someone who needs to carry items for a family member as well like a wheelchair or electric cart. May 13, 2015

I've loved this car and will probably buy another on the other side of the Atlantic. The interior is comfortable and the cargo capacity awesome. When we put friends in the back it doesnt feel like we're banishing them to discomfort. The Kia guys did a great job maintaining the price point while eliminating the cheapness of the 2013's interior (the accent lighting is awesome). The car itself is solid, the ride quality smooth and quiet for the price. You feel like youve mastered the road while driving it, especially other cars tend to avoid you. I've never had to have this in for anything but routine maintenance and, as qualified as the son of a lifetime mechanic can be, I dont see anything popping up until the belts need changing a few years down the road. Performance-wise it's on the tight side. Having owned a slightly overpowered small car before this one, the acceleration felt sluggish but it's exactly what you expect from a V6 AWD SUV. It stops well (too quickly the first time I drove it) and handles very cleanly going down the road. I pull 26 MPG on the freeway but only 21 when the beast has to get up to speed from a stop repeatedly.Jun 05, 2014

Handling, fuel economy, roomy, fun to drive, price, reliable, long warranty, comfortable, nice design, lot of standard options lack sometimes power on hilly roads, suspension may be stiff for some people (but good for me) Overall this is a true family car but very fun and nice to own and drive - also safe with lot of options - I like it and will buy a second KIAApr 03, 2014

Excellent quality, many items that are optional elsewhere are standard equipment in the 2011 Sorento. Handling is good, braking excellent with the stability package. Ours is an I-4 with the 6 spd auto and third seat. Acceleration is good and fuel economy seems good also with 600 mi on the clock--20 mpg in suburban and city driving with no trips yet. I expect that on a road trip it will exceed the 28 mpg EPA rating. This is a comfortable, good looking SUV with a lot going for it. Don forget the warranty! We live in Maine and drive our cars and trucks into the ground, kept the last SUV for 9 yrs and 130,000 mi. I looked at all of them and chose the Sorento. Expect that it will last and be reliable for a long time. Recommend it to anyone who needs AWD and elbow room.Mar 01, 2010
