Van always handled well, got good mileage and was generally very reliable. I am getting a 1998 and will see if that lasts as long. So far, the 1998 is proving to be just as reliable as the 1997. Even the Sun roof works on the 1998!
Really drives like a car, more than any Van that I have driven. Good investment!May 01, 2013

Thee BEST minivan EVA! in other words its very affordable to buy and to maintain. power is decent. it actually handles like a car. we have only had to replace the ignition switch and o2 sensor in the 5+ years. just hit 233k and still ticking!Dec 02, 2011

Moon roof and sun roof, pluse good sound system. Economical four cyclinder with loads of torque. Seven seater van with comfort built on an accord chasis so handles very well for a van. Also doubles as a handy for moving vehicle as the seats fold away to provide a large cargo space.Mar 12, 2011

Roomy and comfortable, performance OK but auto gearbox not really suited to revvy engine. Ride and handling is typically japanese, vague and wallowy. Well built and equipped, it has done 80000 miles for me and 138000 altogether.
Not a rewarding or entertaining drive, but 4wd is good and everything still works. Mine runs on lpg, which makes it a very economical large mpv.May 03, 2010

Performance - Sleek, neat and engine response is quick
Build Quality - good except for the exhaust that is low
Appearance - beautifully crafted allover
Cost of Ownership - fuel economy
Fun Factor - Not too big but spacious, you will love to drive it

Acceleration is quick to the touch.. Braking is squeaky and handling is excellent..
performance is great!!
Build quality was great for engine, transmission and drivetrain..
It's fun to drive sometimes..

I think that this is the best minivan with no sliding doors. There's not much to say about it except that it has air conditioning, tinted windows, 15" OZ racing alloys, 15" Yokohama AS430 tires, AM/FM/cassette radio, and 7 passenger seating. The only thing I hate about this car is the brakes. My brakes are horrible right now and I'm always afraid about braking downhill because the car wouldn't stop one time.Aug 02, 2008

Not a fast car, its a comfort vehicle. braking is ok thought i have not yet had to put it to the test. When we bought it 18 months ago it was imaculate and as of yet we havnt had to spend much on it, we replaced the cams @ 100k km. I think it not a beautiful car but its not ugly either. Its not to bad on petrol tho i havnt worked how many ks per litre it does. i really enjoy drivin this car, mind you its the nicest car i hav ever owned.Jun 26, 2008

A great MPV with innovations way ahead of its time. The full 7 seat capacity with fold-in bench seat was a great feature as is the comfortable ride and great visibility all round.

This thing is a boat on wheels. It has tons of room for all shapes and sizes. It has several configurations for seating and storage. Inside and out this van has what others want. (This is evident by the certain styling cues being integrated into other manufacturer vans.) The rear seating is complimented by a entertainment system that offers everything from a dvd player to plugs for the latest video game consoles.Jul 30, 2007
