23 year old Honda Accord EX Coupe, 5 speed, unmolested! Great find! Usual nicks and scratches but all in all it was like stepping back in time when I got in the car, all original. Will do great as my daily driver.Apr 23, 2023

This is a great car in the summer, build quality is strong, I can feel it in the ride. Feel safe in the snow, the car sticks to the ground. Fun to drive, easy on the wallet, and the repair costs have been very low.Dec 01, 2014

This is the only new car I ever bought and I owned it up until I had my second kid and it was totally impractical. Very reliable, the V6 was VERY powerful and fun to drive. The design of the doors and quarter panels seemed to dent easily. I had the leather package but the sides of the seats are made of plastic and crack--that was disappointing. I thought the sound system sounded great. The back seat lays down and I could get some pretty long objects in the car (including skis).May 26, 2014

I have had this accord for a week and absolutely have nothing bad to say about it, it rides great, saves money on fuel and if it lasts like the stories I've heard about Honda's I may be a life long Honda owner.Feb 14, 2012

Speedy acceleration quick response to all controls good braking handles roads very well at any speed. good on gas can get about 800Km to a tank of gas on the highway. low maintenance,a real pleasure to drive handles even the rough roads of Sudbury without getting hung up.Nov 07, 2010

Best car I have owned so far. Most expensive fix I have had to make in almost a decade was for brakes/tires, which is pretty much general maintenance. I recommend going for the V6 -- the four cylinder is decent, but I wouldn't get that again.Sep 28, 2009

The stock J30A1 engine needs to be mod'd with Acura J32 parts (Heads, intake manifold, throttle body, cams) needs a same year Odessey crank, peppy V6 power, good braking, solid suspension, sleek styling, low maintence, decent fuel milage, loaded with features, comfortable interior, Legendary Honda quality and performanceAug 02, 2009

Performance - amazing, handles well and very fast
Quality - mechanics completely sound when kept up to date
Appearance - absolutely beautiful and sleek style
Cost - expensive for parts but well worth it in the end
Fun - quick off the line and glides along the road for a very smooth ride...Jul 07, 2009

Fun to drive car that was amazingly reliable. Had 100,000 miles and had zero problems. Handling was excellent, car looked great with tinted windows and new Enkei rims and Toyo tires (my wife and son got them for me for Father's Day). Hated to get rid of it!Feb 10, 2009

The Accord Coupe is a great daily driver - the V6 is decent on gas compared to other 3.0L+ V6 motors of the time, and the torque (200ft. lbs) is positively un-Honda-like. Build quality is great, had a few issues as a first-year model, but otherwise very reliable for a Honda built in Ohio and not Japan.Dec 22, 2008

This was my second Accord Coupe, so that should tell you something right off the bat. I loved the look of this car from the day it came out, and think it still looks pretty good for being 10 years old. It's the V6, so it makes about 200 HP. It's a fun and sporty drive, but not high performance by any stretch. Still, for being pretty sporty it gets about 30 mpg on the highway, and 23-24 mpg around town, if I behave and don't stomp on it too much.
A couple of negatives for the car: The power windows seem to be weak. I have had two driver's side failures and one passenger side. At $600 a pop to fix, that gets old pretty fast. The other issue is that the clearcoat on the roof of the car is failing. Estimate from the paint shop is about $1000 to fix.
I have put 130,000 miles on this car in 10 years. I put 160,000 on my first Accord, a 1989 coupe. If you are looking for an affordable, fun to drive, dependable automobile, you can do no better than the cars of Honda. Oct 06, 2008

i've driven this car for 8 years and own it out right. i've lowered it with Koni yellow's and Eibach pro-kit springs. The headlights are TYC black housing's with true projector lenses. Pretty much all the basics are added; we've got the AEM v2 cai , Front Neuspeed strut bar, 45% and 30% tinting front to back respectively, and an HKS cat back exhaust on the way. interior if full of alpine and rockford fosgateJul 07, 2008

In my opinion, the best looking Accord of all the generations. With excellent aerodynamics, and tail lights reminiscent of the NSX, this is a beautiful car. Excellent performance, and still running like new at 177,000 miles.Jun 27, 2008

I love that the car has a sunroof, spoiler, leather interior and an overall sleek look. The audio system is pretty good and the AC is kick ass to have down here in Houston, especially since mine is dark purple. Jun 12, 2008

Technically, my parents own this car, but it's mine to drive (for now at least). we bought it
used in august 2007, and since we have had only one minor problem with the alternator,
but that was easily fixed. the engine feels and sounds great for 65,000 miles. The steering
is nice and tight and the car corners beautifully. The sound system is nice, and the
speakers work well. The sunroof is great for a warm day, although not too hot. The seats
are very comfortable to sit in and provide the right amount of support in the right places.
The doors are wide, which allow for great sightlines when chnging lanes, turning etc., but
don't work out so well for parking in tight spots. The backseat is somewhat small, but is
adequate for children and small adults. Since we bought the car used, there are only really
three things that i would change. I would get a standard transmission insted of the
automatic that this car has. The car would look great with a spoiler on the trunk. Also,
white paint is a pain to keep clean, especially in the winter. Overall, even though this car is
eight years old, it drives beatifully and there are very few cars i would consider trading it
for. Apr 22, 2008

This car is sweet! It has decent gas mileage, about 25 city/highway. It handles really well, and the 4 anti-lock brakes grip well. It runs about 150 hp and 150 ft\lbs torque in a 4 cylinder VTEC engine. There is plenty of room even in the 2 door. Outsanding trunk space, head/leg room for both driver and passenger and plenty of room in the engine bay (if thats what you're into :0). Plus its a Honda and generally speaking they last forever.Feb 15, 2008

Great car, 3.0 L V6 is very fast. its a two door coupe, leather interior, santa fe red, 120,000 miles on the odometer. no mechanical problems of any kind; just what you'd expect from a honda. its a 5 speed auto, but i kinda wish it was stick like my nissan was. upgraded the struts to Monroe Race Tech Super Streets on all four corners, so it handles like a roadster. there is very little body roll when i take a fast corner. i want to get some 19" Motegi rims, preferably white (would look good against the red paint). Gotta save a little more, tho :) but overall, i love my car. Jan 08, 2008
