Very good cheap aftermarket parts......most work can be done by an average tool handy person........saves you 80 dollars an hour on labor......if left stock, it will look great as a clean near vintage preSUV truck. NOT......NOT....an everyday driver if you are worried about gas. TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION!!!!.....with no car payment....multiple companies manufacturing high end aftermarket parts....ease of repair....it STILL beats a brand new SUV with the average price of 50gand.Nov 26, 2013

this has been a great truck to see the USA in from California to Florida
we took the kids camping and had a blast
it has carried boy scouts and Presidential candidates
and with only 117,000 miles it is ready for many more years of service :)

This truck is a lot of fun. Lots of room and lots of possibility! It is just not practical for everyday use unless you have a family. I drive this to and from work mostly by myself. Though it is perfect for packing full of people and heading out on an adventure! Whether to the river or the city, a concert or a party it is great for a good time and lots of room to crash in if you can't drive! Dec 05, 2011

I love my Suburban! Wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle! It is dependable, She
can get up and go when she needs to and she stops when I tell her to! She hasn't
needed much work mechanically! Love the way it is designed just need a paint job!
Get pretty good gas mileage considering it is the size of a sherman tank :) and I
LOVE TO DRIVE IT!!!!Sep 26, 2010

Great truck, built bulletproof with a 454, TH400, and 12 Rear End. Hauls 15,000# with 3.73 gearing. No rust!!! Everyone complains about old Chevys rusting, only the cheap ones do, ya get whatcha pay for! Never a single problem and never let me down even with over 350,000 miles on her. It's true what they say, You can depend on your Chevrolet on a cold day!!!Mar 12, 2010

Its a 1991 Chevy Suburban. Its four wheel drive and performs like a champ. I love to go mudding in it and just cruising. It costs a lot to maintain. Its awesome to drive! The interior matches the paint color, how awesome is that?Sep 26, 2009

Well its a beast on gas, but on highway it is not bad. And the seats are definitely comfortable as hell. Subwoofers echo in the back and make it sound really good! Dual exhaust makes it sound pretty sweet, and it is like a rock.Jun 19, 2009

The engine is extremely reliable and powerful, the interior is very roomy, it can haul a lot of weight, and overall, it's one of the best trucks that i've ever owned, and i would recomand it to anybody do to its power and reliability to chevy's around the world. Mar 20, 2009

The 1985 suburban was the best car i ever drove it has power and strength I never had a huge problem in the entire 350,000 miles they have better sound systems than most new cars and had supreme luxury and amazing handling great everything sometimes i regret giving it up for a new car.Dec 05, 2008

We bought this Suburban in El Centro, California on
my 39th birthday on our way to Michigan. It was
(and still is) a solid performer. It gets terrible gas
mileage (or should I say gallons to the mile) but out
performs every Ford I ever owned. It has
tremendous power and can cruise (with cruise
control) at 70 mph on the highway with an auto
transport trailer in tow, loaded with a 5500 pound
vehicle. No Ford I ever owned could do that. After
12 years, I'm still using it for a workhorse on the
ranch.Nov 01, 2008

The chevy suburban is a powerfull working horse. It is hughe and you can carry practically everything you can think of. It is great for familes and when you drive on LPG, you dont spend that much driving it. All parts can be retrieved from the US and even customised parts can be shipped from the US to Europe. The only disadvantage I can think of is that parking may provide you a few problems;)Jan 22, 2008

Our 1974 Chevy Suburban was an awesome vehicle. The truck was still running on its original, un-rebuilt, 350 motor when it was stolen and torched by thieves. This truck was pushing 450K on the original motor and transmission! Jan 10, 2008

Normally a very nice ride....gas mileage is not the greatest...has a 41 gallon tank, so you know what it's like to fill the tank....Changed the original engine with a rebuilt 350 and changed all the parts underneath from front to back...rebuilt now has 25,000 miles on it...Jun 25, 2007
