The 2023 Audi S7 combines the handsome-yet-functional platform of the A7 Sportback with a potent powertrain and athletic cornering abilities. The S7 has a four-door fastback layout that provides plenty of passenger space, as well as 24.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. For 2023, the S7 adds a new Premium trim below the Premium Plus and Prestige trims. This brings the starting price down while maintaining many of the performance and luxury features that make the S7 so desirable.
Standard features on that new Premium trim include leather seating, tri-zone climate control, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital instrument panel, and a dual-screen center cockpit area. The lower touchscreen operates the climate control and other various vehicle systems. The upper touchscreen is home to the infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.
The Premium Plus adds four-zone climate control, a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system, and an adaptive air suspension system, aiding in both ride comfort and driving dynamics. For 2023, the Premium Plus now comes with an LED interior lighting package, heated rear seats, and added leather on the dash and armrests. The range-topping Prestige trim adds many of the features that are optional on the lower trims, as well as a host of additional driver-assistance systems.
There are also a number of available individual appearance packages. For example, there’s a new-for-2023 Audi Sport stitching package. It features a black interior with red contrast stitching in the seats, shifter, door panels, and more.
The Audi S7 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6. It makes 444 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Quattro all-wheel drive. The S7 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds on the way to a top speed of 155 mph. EPA estimates for fuel economy are 18 mpg city, 28 highway, and 22 combined. Premium fuel is recommended for the S7.
Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and front and rear parking sensors. Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, night vision, and a head-up display. Moving up to the Premium Plus trim adds the full suite of driver-assistance features, and selecting the Prestige trim adds an advanced self-parking function.
Base MSRP for the 2023 Audi S7 is $85,200 for the new Premium trim. The Premium Plus trim starts at $86,700, and the range-topping Prestige trim starts at $90,500. The Audi S7 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty.
