About 2022 Audi S7
The 2022 Audi S7 is a brooding, low-slung performance car. With a four-door fastback layout, the S7 provides a decent amount of cargo space, wrapped in the svelte styling that hints at the performance within. The S7 is a performance variant of the A7 and is slotted below the high-performance RS 7. The current generation of the S7 was introduced as a 2020 model, following the 2019-model-year redesign for the A7. It carries over into the 2022 model year with minimal changes. The S7 is powered by a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that develops 444-horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). This combination is good for a zero to 60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, according to Audi. The S7 has manual control for the automatic transmission, as well as Audi Drive Select, with Auto, Comfort, Eco, and Dynamic drive modes. The S7 also comes with Adaptive S Sport suspension system, which helps absorb bumps in the road and further refines the S7 through hard cornering and highway driving. The S7 is available in two trims—Premium Plus and Prestige. The Premium Plus comes standard with leather upholstery, quad-zone climate control, 12-way power-adjustable sport bucket seats, a panoramic moonroof, and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. It also comes standard with a dual-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. Moving up to the Prestige trim adds soft-closing doors, heated rear seats, blind-spot monitoring, and a head-up display. Both trims come with a full array of driver-assistance features. The list includes forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, adaptive high beams, and front-and-rear parking sensors. The 2022 Audi S7 starts at $85,645 for the Premium Plus trim. The S7 Prestige will fetch north of $90,000. EPA fuel economy estimates for the S7 are 18 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The S7 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile warranty.
