Expert review
The Cadillac XT5 is more finely appointed than ever before and now has a roster of available high-tech features.
Cadillac’s compact SUV checks many boxes for premium vehicle buyers but can get pricey, firmly topping out in luxury territory without offering the performance competitors’ products do. The well-mannered SUV continues to show why it’s Cadillac’s perennial best-seller as it sits in the middle of the lineup between the smaller subcompact XT4 and larger midsize Cadillac XT6.

What owners say
"Overall, drivers really enjoy the 2021 Cadillac XT5 for its luxurious feel, smooth ride, and powerful performance. Many appreciated the spacious interior and the various features that enhance comfort and driving experience. However, a few noted that the Sport model's stiffer ride might not be to everyone's liking. Overall, it seems to offer great value for the price."
This car is great wouldn't change a thing. Very clean
January 17, 2026Replaced an 2016 Murano. The XT5 is what we had expected. Car was equipped with every option we were looking for, and then some.
December 3, 2024My first Cadillac, but saying that, I really like this 2021 model. It was basically like new with just over 23k miles on it. Love all of the options that the premium luxury comes with

November 10, 2024Great car, excellent for vacation trips, and admire the outdoors trough its panoramic sunroof.
January 26, 2025Its luxurious, fast (3.6L engine) and sips gas. It has many features that will spoil you. Lots of space inside for you and your stuff. The LED headlights sparkle. The blade lighting front and back are also recognisable from a distance so youll see other Cadillac enthusiasts coming and going. Its like being in an exclusive club. It handles very well on bad roads (AWD and FWD). You do not notice a windy day until it pushes you over a bit because you hear nothing in the isolated, quiet cabin. Well made, durable, a solid buy.
September 16, 2021The 2021 Cadillac XT5 is a great value. It fits my driving needs perfectly. The 20 inch wheels provides additional handling with a very surprisingly smooth ride. It also has a lot of “get up and go”. I would recommend this vehicle.
September 6, 2023Hot looking, very responsive and a smooth ride especially on the 400 series highways
March 23, 2023All the luxuries and priced lower than other suvs
