The A7 is a luxury 4-door coupe that’s similar to the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe and Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. This year marks the debut of the second-generation A7, which sports improvements in every area.
Just like the previous model, the 2019 A7 is a stylized version of the A6 sedan. It sits closer to the ground and features a sleeker roofline that tapers to a practical rear liftgate. You can choose between the standard look and the S line package. The latter comes with enhanced exterior trim, a titanium black diffuser, a revised front bumper with larger inlets, and a lower ride height.
Every A7 comes with a mild-hybrid electric vehicle powertrain, comprised of a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), a 48-volt electrical system, and quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). Together, the system makes 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, whisking the A7 to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. Audi also throws in a drive mode selector and offers a premium sport suspension for further spirited driving.
Like most Audis, the A7 splits its options between Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims. The base Premium comes with keyless access and start, a power liftgate, leather upholstery, heated seats, navigation, heated front seats, a dual-touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, contrast stitching, and LED headlights. The Premium Plus trim adds a digital instrument cluster, a larger upper infotainment screen, matrix-design LED headlights, premium LED taillights with animation, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 16 speakers. Finally, the Prestige trim comes with cooled seats, 4-zone automatic climate control, and soft-close doors. Standalone options include larger wheels, ambient lighting, and premium seats with massage.
The A7 comes with a decent level of standard safety equipment, including a reversing camera, automatic rain-sensing wipers, forward-collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, and front and rear parking sensors. You can add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic emergency braking, vehicle-exit warning, a 360-degree camera, and a head-up display (HUD). The A7 received a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2019.

Audi S7 has given me everything I was looking for, starting by comfort, intererior/exterior design, technology and engine power.
I love how easy is to manipulate the 2 screens, digital cluster, heads-up displays and specially the 2 front seats with massage.
The only thing that I still dont like of Audi is that this brand hasnt added the remote start to their cars. I understand that they are complying with German Environmental regulations but Mercedes Benz is a German company too and they offer this feature to the market.
In short, I have enjoyed the driving with my new Audi S7 like anything else. The perfect balance.Aug 04, 2022
