I bought a 2009 coupe civic, this is my small car that my 6 280 lb husband and I can still feel comfortable in (mazda 5 was too small). It has the speedometer digitally displayed right over my steering wheel. Im installing a small rear view monitor on the left dash to have a perfectly safe drive and park. Great to see these cars with over 250 miles still on the market. Like the fabric seats. Car sits low but the seat can be raised up for good viewing out a big window. Feels safe. This car is great for getting looks in. The car purs almost like a big v10 super car, it is comfortable isn't expensive. Car handles well and looks great. This is our second car that replaced Hyundai Accent coupe (2000). Much better and more comfortable and sophisticated. Rear seat is not all that good but it's a coupe, and small one. Fun to drive and two years later I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Just with manual transmision. Big difference in fuel consumption. Probably needs very gentle driving with automatic transmision to get better fuel economy. I am simply not capable of gentle driving. I tried but the car simply whispers to be pushed harder. Honda Civic Coupe EX-L has premium features, is a comfy ride and costs so very little to own and operate. Road trip to CA returned 43 MPG, using cruise control at 70 MPH, on average. Exceptional braking, and never, ever got stuck in the snow thanks to FWD and variable power assist. May 29, 2012

I never get bored driving this car. Take it to 5800 rpm's and have some fun. Even said, this car is still very cheap to own and practical to use as a daily driver. Be aware, it will not keep up with V8's and turbo 4's in the straight line category. A lot of fun on the back roads.Mar 31, 2012

Good on Gas but only a 1.8L and kinda slow. The coupe is pretty spacious
and affordable. A real pain if you want to swap the spoiler though. The
aux jack is convenient for an ipod and the stock sound system is really

Recommend getting one with sunroof--gives
you a sense of space since the roof is so low.

Has anyone experienced a ticking noise in the engine at low revs? It sounds like the engine needs oil (it didn't). The dealer's tech compared it w/another 2009 coupe and said it made the same noise. It's very noticeable idling at a light and in reverse. Sep 15, 2009

Everything ever about it is awesomeeeee. I would recommend it to anyone. Braking is kinda hard to get used to. It hasn't needed a repair yet, hopefully because it's brand new. Performance....... its a civic lx not an SI. It is a very smooth riding car, with very quick and responsive steering, handling pretty good for a front wheel drive car, and is very fun to drive. Great gas mileage, very low maintenance, very reliable. The exterior styling is the a great increase over last years model, honeycomb grill, black housing headlights with clear corners, and more aggressive sportier front bumper. build quality is as good as you can expect for such a inexpensive car. The car is great. I've owned 2 already and my husband had 1. Performance is good. Cost of ownership is great, it's a Honda so what do you expect. I love to drive the car, long trips or short. 2009 Honda Civic no crank no start
I bought the car 2 weeks ago an this morning I used it to run errands. Then a couple hours later went to the gas station an came back home turned my car off an it was raining really bad so I wanted to finish smoking in the car so less then a minute later I tried to start it again an it cranked but no start. Since then nothing. I've tried to jump it off an nothing. Does anyone know what this could be? Thank u
