Where is the ground wire to the relay for the fog lights? I can’t find it and I can’t find anything online for it.

Write a reviewFollowing its introduction in 2007, the Chrysler Aspen SUV cruises into 2008 with a nod toward fuel efficiency, thanks to a choice of two engines. The Aspen's 5.7-liter Hemi 335 V8 engine comes equipped with a feature called the Multiple-Displacement System, which automatically shifts from eight-cylinder operation to four cylinders when full power is not required, such as when cruising at highway speeds, and shifts back to eight cylinders when needed. This helps conserve fuel while providing optimal power in all driving situations. When kicking on all eight cylinders, the Hemi V8 produces 335 horsepower, which ably moves the luxury-oriented SUV.
The 2008 Aspen can also be equipped with a 303-horsepower, 4.7-liter V8 "flex-fuel" engine, which means the engine can run on E85 fuel (a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline). E85 not only emits less carbon dioxide than standard gasoline, but also has a higher octane rating than gasoline. Some drivers note, however, that the 303-horsepower engine can strain at times when moving the Aspen under hard acceleration.
The Aspen's exterior and interior design change little for 2008. Although it borrowed many of its components from the Dodge Durango, including its platform and suspension, the Aspen goes for a more upscale feel, with such standard features as a wood-grain instrument panel and interior trim, low-back bucket front seats, remote keyless entry, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and an AM/FM/CD audio system with Alpine speakers, an MP3 input jack, and Sirius satellite radio.
The Aspen can seat up to eight passengers in its roomy cabin, which can be easily reconfigured for cargo thanks to 40/20/40-split fold-and-tumble second-row seats and 60/40 split folding third-row seats. As far as the Aspen's design is concerned, drivers note that while its lines are fairly clean and simple, it doesn't have the design flair that distinguishes some of Chrysler's other vehicles.
While drivers and reviewers note that the Aspen's handling and stability are adequate, some point out that the SUV suffers from body sway in the corners, while others note that the Aspen can feel floaty and even a bit sloppy on twisty roads. Braking is not as precise as it should be for an SUV this size, according to some, and many note that the Aspen suffers in overall braking and handling when compared to other vehicles in its class. The Aspen does come equipped with antilock brakes and an Electronic Stability System, which helps drivers maintain control of the vehicle in emergency situations.

This was my second Aspen. My first lasted 15 years and was just the most reliable and solid vehicle for all seasons and weather.
Buying used always comes with some trepidation, but because I was familiar with the model etc I knew what I was looking for.
We did have to put new tires and a few other small things, which I think should have been considered in the price. But considering the way all used cars seem overly expensive right now, I’m satisfied.

This is probably one of the best buys among 3 row SUVs. The Aspen was designed to fix some of the deficiencies of the sister vehicle (Durango) Chrysler fixed the rusting issues and some of the drive train mistakes. This vehicle was quieter, rode smoother and added several creature comforts. May 19, 2022

This is the best car of chrysler aspen it has 350 hp with a 5.7L HEMI V8
this is a full size suv with tv, heated seats, 3rd,rows with raido but it has touch screen this car is great with 4wd 4wd lock and 4wd low. and has towing compassiting with unlock lock trunk auto start and panic on the key fog tell you alot in the car its simular to the 2004 dodge duarango 5.7 L hemi the durango is the same car as the chrysler aspen they are very simular they both has the 5.7L hemi i would reccomand this car.Dec 24, 2021

I loved this suv for six years. Now I am trying to replace it due to its rust prone body. It is hard to find another prettier suv than this one. I almost looked into getting its counterpart the Durango, but it isn’t so elegant. So I am currently in search. Hard suv to replace!Mar 02, 2021

The HVAC system has poor plastic in the actuator doors, prone to breakage. The rest of the interior is very nice. Style to me looks better then the Durango twin, 5.7 Hemi is a great motor. We use it mainly for highway trips and towing our camper. It is great around town but we also have a 2011 Town and Country for that that gets better mileage. I really like this Aspen. I have had very few problems, but nothing a new set off tires and shocks. There is a lot to learn on the entertainment system. The owners manual has every thing you need. Just get in, open the manual and set it up how you want it.Mar 10, 2015

I love this SUV it has leather seats, crouse controle, dvd player, heated seats, and a hemi. For a hemi this thing gets pretty good gas mileage. Its so easy to speed in this SUV all you have to do is tap the gas and its going 30mph.Nov 08, 2009

Have a 2008 Chrysler Aspen with P0765 Code from hell
Have a 2008 Chrysler Aspen that has to get up to about 2000 RPMS to start moving forward and will occasionally jerk. This has been an ongoing Issue. Throws a P0765 code so had the Shift Solenoid replaced and about a month later it was doing the same thing. Took it to another garage and they said the Transmission needed to be replaced. Put a remanufactured Transmission in it and a week later it started doing the same thing. P0765 code is back and they are going to replace the transmission again as its covered with a 4yr Warranty. Seems like something is being missed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why is my engine knocking?
My chrysler has been sitting for a couple years and finally got around to get it running again. After starting and I got it to idle it started to make a knocking noise. I have change the oil and filter and put an injector cleaner and 5 gallons of 87 fuel. The knocking comes and goes and it gets more infrequent when the engine reaches operating temp.
