Replaced battery and now heater control does not work. Removed negative battery for few seconds and this did not help. Dennis

Like the H2, the 2007 Hummer H3 has only one engine option available, a 242hp, 3.7 liter, inline 5 cylinder. However, the H3 has received an additional transmission. Instead of just a 4-speed automatic, a 5-speed manual has been added as the standard transmission. Gas mileage for the 2007 Hummer H3 is pretty low, 15/19 miles per gallon. Smaller than the other Hummers, the H3 is a slightly more user friendly.
Most of the features available come standard in the 2007 Hummer H3. Air conditioning, cruise control, tire pressure monitors and a CD player are just a few of the standard features. The options include a CD changer, a navigation system and a sunroof. To keep you safe, the 2007 Hummer H3 has All-Wheel Drive, ABS, traction control and airbags. Certainly not as high end as the Hummer H2, the H3 is an excellent alternative if you need a more controlled Hummer.
Owners of the 2007 Hummer H3 liked the SUV overall. A common request was for more power, perhaps a V6 or even a V8 available. Gas mileage was also a source of contention with owners. Many owners were surprised by the maneuverability and turning radius of the H3. Overall, this is a Hummer that is made for people who don't quite need a full-sized beast. It�s been tamed a little bit, and some folks need a calmer ride.

The oil pan was leaking, some air caps were missing out tons for the seat were missing, seat adjusting leaver broken, salvage title still makes technical noises when starting it up. Bad value. First impression of car was dirty unclean .Mar 01, 2022

I like the looks and the fact that it's full time 4WD.
It's easy on gas, and with a manual transmission it has 242 horsepower.
Overall it is a very dependable vehicle and has been a low cost option, amazingly.

Really like my H3, I just wish they had the H3T (Truck Version) out before I bought mine and now that Hummer stopped making them the H3T are still high in price. I would recommend this to a friend but with gas prices the way they are we might all be in smart cars soon.Feb 24, 2012

acceleration wise its week , braking is amazing goes from 150 to 20 in no time , handling its a big car you have to get used to it .

For the price, this thing is outrageous. Drove it while looking for a new suv, had great power, but a really slow shifting transmission. Limited visibility due to really small windows, felt like a was driving a fort on wheels. We had to count this one of the list, too pricey. We felt like we were paying extra for the brand name. The entry H3 is reasonably equipped, getting air-conditioning, cruise control and an MP3 compatible CD player. 2007 Hummer H3 starting problem
I have problems starting my H3 sometimes just fine other times no charge. I have replaced the battery 3 times thinking that I had a faulty battery even switched brands. Had the alternator and starter checked. Everything checks out fine. I have recently realized that cooler weather seems to affect it as I am starting to have same issue again with colder weather moving in. I’m dumb founded, any advice?
