Oil light
I have a '06 Mitsubishi Gallant and yesterday my oil light came on, so I checked the oil and it wasn't low so how do I get the oil light to go off?

The Mitsubishi Galant is essentially carried over for 2006, but there are a few minor adjustments. There are few subtle design changes for the wheels and interior trim. The ES model now comes with anti-lock brakes and the LS and GTS models get a tire pressure monitor.
The Galant has never has never been able to steal the spotlight from some of its more mainstream competitors like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. A comprehensive redesign in 2004 produced a sedan better matched for the American market, and the Galant has received more recognition in recent years. The sedan is set apart from its competitors by a larger V-6, athletic handling abilities, and unique interior and exterior styling.
Galant styles include the base DE, the more customizable ES, the luxurious SE, the well-equipped LS and the sporty GTS. All Galants include full power accessories, air conditioning, keyless entry, a CD player, cup holders and automatic-off headlights. Options availability is determined by the trim.
The DE, ES and SE are powered by a 2.4 liter inline four cylinder engine, which generates 160 horsepower and 157 pound-feet of torque. A four-speed automatic is the only transmission option with this engine and fuel economy is estimated at 23/30 mpg. The LS and GTS house a 3.8 liter V-6, supplying 230 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. The four-speed automatic transmission comes with a manual shifter. Fuel efficiency falls to 19/27 mpg with the V-6.
The Galant's interior is one of its most distinctive features. The design is sleek and modern, and the controls are user-friendly and well-placed. Front seat comfort is excellent, but the rear quarters are a bit cramped for larger passengers. The sedan is also an above average performer. The V-6 models will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.8 seconds, but the four-speed transmission lacks the smoothness of many competitors.

Honestly I looked at so many the other day I can’t remember the cars features to quite honest. This car is a wonderful value I would say. This car is missing a owner Im assuming since it’s to be reviewed after a purchase? I’m just saying compared to a Honda this car is really neat since they no long manufacture this type any longer. There too expensive to have kept making them so it is discontinued and a very very rare find ion such good condition!Aug 05, 2021

This car is very peppy for a 4cyl. It is fun and comfortable to drive, it handles like more expensive sport compacts however it is a mid size. It's very easy to clean. The car has been one of my favorites. Sep 08, 2013

The performance is great for a four banger, handeling is good, braking ok could be better. The appearance is unique the color is called UV Blue. haven't seen many at all of this color. Maybe Three or four. Had this car sice Feb 06'. Love to drive it. would love to take it on a track.Jan 06, 2010

I love my car and it gets 30 mpg and its very fun to drive! The car for a 4 Cylinder is quite powerful and it never has broken down. There is plenty of room insidfe the car to!Jul 13, 2008

How do I know if my key fob is not programmed to my car?
I had to order a new key fob cause my key broke and I lost it but still have the original key to my car. So after I ordered a new fob from Carsandtrucksrepair. And programmed the key fob.
