The RX's success continued in its eighth year of production, combining a smooth and responsive ride and fine Lexus details within a desirable SUV exterior. This was the final production year for the 330 before the RX line underwent a third makeover for 2007.
The RX 330 remained largely unchanged between 2005 and 2006, with the exception of minor interior details and extended options. New options included a 6-CD changer, dynamic laser cruise control, a rear back-up camera, rear seat entertainment system, adjustable front seat heaters, rain-sensing wipers, a towing package, roof rails and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Lexus also introduced the hybrid RX 400h for 2006.
The 330 featured the same 3.3-liter V6 that powered the previous year's version, making 230 horsepower and pushing the RX from 0 to 60 mph in just under 9 seconds. Fuel economy continued to be acceptable at 19/25 mpg. While many drivers were pleased with the 5-speed transmission's smoothness at higher speeds, those who drive more in the city were disappointed with the uneven shifting in the lower gears.
My 2006 Lexus RX350 starts vibrating at about 50 MPH when pressing the accelerator. When I release the accelerator slightly, the vibration stops. will vibrate again slightly when I press the gas pedal again then stop vibrating.
Does RX 330 AWD has a Timing belt or Timing Chain?
Yesterday the rear right power lock would not operate, but the front right did operate. Today after 'fixing' the rear right, the front will not operate now. In general everything works either directly, or via the FOB. But the front right will not lock or unlock in any automated fashion, either through the FOB, Driver Console, or using the key outside the vehicle on the driver door. Im just looking for the definitive way to make all doors lock and unlock from the FOB and Driver console together at the same time.
When car is moving, AC blows very cold. When car sits still for a few minutes, recirculation light goes out, and AC light starts blinking. At that point car begins to blow hot air. Took to local dealer who kept car two day's and charged me over 500 dollars and said it had a bad relay. Drove the car back to my wifes work. All seemed fine. When she left work, she pulled over to make a call and the same thing happened again. I'm about to pull my hair out! Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Many thanks in advance for help!
