A good, reliable and 'cheerful' car which is relatively inexpensive to run. Lots of fun, for your money, but a hard ride on long journeys or bad roads. Although it has a 'hard ride' it handles well in ice and snow. A good all-rounder.Sep 23, 2010

This is the Zetec Climate TDCi as there was no option for this and it is only two down from the ST. Great little economical car, cheap tax, cheap on fuel, fairly cheap on insurance, build quality is great and for a diesel very quickJun 03, 2010

Awesome car with stunning styling. Every detail taken care and rewards a good driver. For the price the performance is stunning but would leave you wanting more (guess thats what the Focus ST is for). Can kill with basic mods and be the fastest for the money. On very bumpy roads the performance suspension is felt. Love the styling, looks stunning and very fun to driveApr 06, 2010

overall a very good car, responsive, quick and very fun to drive, corners very well for a front wheel drive. The power to weight ratio after a new chip and induction kit was awesome as well, the car over all was a very fun car and is definatly a very good car to start tuning on.Nov 20, 2009

Great little car! Just a Shame its a 14i...
For a 14i its quite zippy
Road holding is amazing! Apearance is getting a bit dated(2006). Will trade it in for the new big brother soon enough.
Light on fuel. Cheap to service. Very reliable.
Ford won me back as a fan after driving this carNov 17, 2009

This is the vehicle that I use for commuting. It's a Ford Ikon that's known as Ford Fiesta in other countries.
The handling and the seating position is the best positive aspect of this vehicle. The brakes isn't effective enough.Aug 23, 2009

performance is good, accelerates well, breaking is ok, steering lock is not good.
Appearence is good, interior styling is ok, exterior styling is nice.
It is a bit heavy on petrol, and insurance is a bit high.
this car is a lot of fun to drive and is responsive. Mar 16, 2009

My Fiesta is the Zetec S 1.6 Petrol verson. It performs well, nippy acceleration (0-60 9.9 secs) good brakes, excellent handling, very direct steering, stable and composed at speed even on bumpy roads.
As for repairs, I've had a couple of squeaks fixed and I had a problem with the clutch juddering after about 6k miles, but this was replaced by my local dealership with no real hassle.
The appearance of the car is the main reason I bought it, it looks almost identical to the ST model but for £2,000 less. It even has the half-leather trim like the ST, I couldn't justify the extra expense to jump up to the next spec, I recommend this car to anyone.
Servicing is reasonable, 1st years is about £140, 2nd around £180. Economy is also decent, around 33mpg urban rising to over 40mpg on the motorway.
To sum up, the car is a lot of fun to drive, as I said above the handling is brilliant and the engine is eager and revvy, my only complaint is that it can be a little noisy when cold.Dec 09, 2008

Performance - Pulls good, not the best 2 litre n/a performance car you can buy but this is reflected in the insurance group (13) it's put it. But the handling on the car is amazing, throw it around corners and it just wants more!
Build quality - nice and solid cant fault it.
Appearance - Ok its a fiesta but in my opinion its a good looking hot hatch with nice interior.
Cost of ownership - Fairly cheap ownership... Insurance group 13, decent tax band for a 2 litre engine, 35mpg (40mpg if i take it easy), servicing is cheap....
Fun factor - deffinate a fun car, great handling like a little go kart, performace could be a little better but this can be achived by a few mods to get more out of durtec 2 litre engine such as k&n induction kit, and the exhaust is restricted so by buying an aftermarket exhaust or a flexi pipe this will get the best performance out of the car for not much money.Sep 06, 2008

Simple, zippy car, great on fuel, looks ok, cant complain about it really, except that it is a racer, at all.
costs around $30 to fill and gets around 550km to a tank.
For a small low powered car it drives well and handles pretty good too.
three more words. this review is long enough now...Jul 31, 2008

Everything about my old car was awsome. The colour, the design, all of it beautiful. Performance, it could handle just about anything. For a small car fuel economy was excellent, especially with today's fuel prices. Cost - well thanks to my dad, he paid for pretty much all of it, all I had to do was trade in my old car for it. This car is so cool to drive, it pretty much glides over the road.Jul 01, 2008

Ok i only drove this for a bit considering it was my girlfriends (now the Ex).
I was very impressed with it, i would definatly buy one of these but prob the ST version. Build quality inside the car was very very good compared to my 54 plate Focus. I actually really really like the looks of it too.Feb 15, 2008

Had to downsize to this after an MX-5 so anything was going to be a come down. However, I've been impressed with the build quality and how refined the Fiesta is - much better than my 2004 Corsa was.Nov 17, 2007
