Outside the addition of an optional 6.6 L V8 powertrain, not much changed for the Chevy Express Cargo in 2006. The roomier version of the Express now has 3 primary standard engines: a 4.3 L, 195 hp V6, a 4.8 L, 285 hp V8, and a 5.3 L, 295 hp V8. All trims have 3 doors and seat 2.
Gas mileage comes out to 14 mpg in the city and 19 on the highway. Standard features include air conditioning and ABS brakes. Options include power windows, power door locks, power seats, and cd player. Need to tow something more than whatever you store in the 225.1 cubic feet of cargo space in the regular trims and the 261.6 cubic feet in the Extended trims? Max towing capacity ranges from 5900 to 10000 lbs. depending on the trim.
Overall, reviewers like the Express Cargo's strong engines and available all-wheel drive. On the other hand, handling and interior could use some work. On the whole, the Express Cargo gives you a lot to like if you've got a lot to lug.
