The van itself is plain, designed for easy customization and upfits for a variety of commercial purposes. ## Powertrain The 2023 Chevy Express Cargo features a 4.3-liter V6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, rated for 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque. The Express Cargo is also available with a 6.6-liter V8 that produces 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque, and a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission.
