The 2005 Ford Econoline Wagon is a powerful full-size passenger van designed for commercial as well as consumer use. It's based on the F-Series pickup truck platform, and like its truck cousin, it's offered in a range of trims and configurations.

The trims offered for the 2005 Econoline Wagon are varied. First of all, buyers can choose between the E-150 and the E-350 Super Duty platforms; trim levels for each platform are the XL, XLT, and luxurious Chateau.

Both regular and Extended wheelbase models are offered on the E-350 Super Duty version of the '05 Ford Econoline Wagon; both are plenty roomy, with ample space for cargo as well as passengers.

The E-150 Econoline Wagon comes standard with a 4.6-liter V8 engine; buyers can upgrade to a 5.4-liter V8 plant with an impressive 255 horsepower. The E-350 Super Duty's standard engine is the 5.4-liter V8, but drivers looking for lots of power can spring for a 5.8-liter V8 plant.

I love the space and the height. It is great for trips with kids have so much space. It can pull anything and is fun to drive, but not so much fun to park. And right now, the gas is not fun either. Jun 25, 2008
