This car made me not want to get out of it when I was home even after a 10 hour trip from Miami. No other car cam compare to the luxury and room of the 745Li. We would go on double dates and everyone had more than enough enough to stretch out there legs and relax.May 24, 2013

I love this car. It is a sweet, spacious ride with all the bells and whistles. All hwy miles. It is a very reliable car. I reccommend BMW to as a whole anyone but the 7 series is the cream of the crop. Power sunroof, heated/cooled seats, cd changer, cd player, navigation system, bluetooth technology. Feb 23, 2012

Acceleration is great handles extremely well (duh it's a bmw) and it has good
brakes. Built wells no squeaks, it looks like nothing else it's beautiful. Maintenance
isn't that bad. good on gas considering that the car is large and the car is very

I pulled up to the red light excitedly. For a car with 325 hp it must put it all to the wheels. It launched from 0-60 in what seemed a blink of an eye. The I-drive electronic control was a new feature on this car. Many people did not like it. I found that it makes controlling everything from the NAV, A/C, sound and other systems really easy once you learn it.

This is simply the nicest car I have ever been in. I also own a Maserati Quatroporte. The Maserati is faster and sleeker, however the 745 is a smoother ride. The Maserati turns heads as you don't see them every day, but the 745i is gorgeous in its own right. I feel more guilty putting miles on the Maserati. The BMW is probalby the better choice (service ect...) But for raw emotion and the need for attention the Maserati works.Apr 24, 2009

I love the Tiptronic Transmission. What a difference in performence from regular mode to sports mode. Changing shift in 7000rpm you see. Great brake system, altough changing brake pads and rotors cost is about $1800. Cost of ownership is about 95000$ in USA, Dec 11, 2008

Well what do i say - its a bimmer!!Built solid - runs well. Yea guzzles a lot of fuel, but when u can afford one u gotta afford the fuel as well! Feature packed with rich interiors - worth your money for the ride! Does become a huge problem for indian conditions in terms of parking and pot holed roads..Aug 13, 2008

the car itself is super luxurious.the quality is very good and the performance is stagerring and powerful.To my amazement for such a car which is 3.5 litre v8 is very surprising.The cost of it however is realisticly high but it is a very good and fun car to drive.Other than that the whole car is just fantasticly build.Jul 31, 2008

Performance is there as it generates about 279bhp to 290bhp.The build in quality is very good and I think the performance is excellent.The cost of owning this car is significantly quite high and it is a very fun car to drive.It is also very comfortable and very luxurious to seat.Jul 30, 2008

You know, people rave about the S - Class, and maybe they have a point.
If you feel like a ride like everybody else, go buy one.

BMW engine overheat message, no CEL error code
This is regarding 2005 745LI, I have recently changed coolant Thermostat, Upper and Lower Coolant sensor and Radiator fan. I keep on getting Engine overheated at 107C. The Water pump is working fine as I can c a steady stream of coolant in coolant reservoir. The coolant is between Min and Max range (no coolant leak). Upper radiator hose is HOT and lower radiator hose is warm to touch. I am able to drive for 30 mins continuously and the message keeps on popping and disappears and this cycle continues. Also the radiator fan does not come on when the overheating message pops up. Only when I start the AC, the fan starts. Any help is demystifying this issue is much appreciated. Thank you.
