Flat tow a 4X4
I have a 2004 pathfinder 4X4 with a 5 speed manual trany. Can I flat tow this unit behind my motor home? What considerations are there if I do this? Where can I get an owners manual for this unit? Thanks...ddw

The 2004 pathfinder is a very well built 4 runner, it has all the items the more expensive models do, like the Lexus 300. However it does need a regular service more often than the other models, like Acura, Honda, Toyota. if serviced regular it will run well but will not last as long, like the others. Also it tends to rust a lot quicker than most of
the other models. overall it is a short term model vehicle that needs
a lot of tampering if you wish to run it for a long time.

A good old fashioned SUV that handles any weather or terrain you can throw at it. The LE Platinum has all of the creature comforts of the era, including leather seats and 6 disc changer. Lack of modern infotainment, reverse camera, etc. only enhance the fun factor of this Pathfinder. A rare blend of tough and classy.Apr 12, 2015

Its awesome! I love the car. Have not had an issue other than a weather sealant wore down and let a little rain in. had to replace rubber piece. Very powerful 4wd at both hi and low gear. I would recommend highly!!!!!!!Dec 11, 2013

Excellent condition, platinum package offers all options from sun / moon roof, heated seats to 6 CD Changer and cassette! Low miles at 123,000 runs and drives great! Easy to drive, perfect for a small family. I used it for commuting back and forth to work.Mar 15, 2013

Great vehicle! It looks better than most new SUVs on the road today and it has great handling. I never had any doubts that it won't get me and my family from point A to point B. That includes off paved roads!
It's a very solid and reliable vehicle.
Yes, sometimes I wish it was bigger and had more power accelerating, but overall, I'm very happy with it. Mine has every option imaginable (Platinum edition) making it even more of an enjoyable ownership experience. Apr 26, 2012

One of the most maintenance free cars I have ever owned. You won't be
disappointed with this car. Plenty of room, plenty of power in this 240hp
3.5cc engine. The fun factor is there for getting to the outdoors. It is a

Nissan is a great company and this car has had absolutely no problems since we
got it in 2004. If it we my own car i would of gotten something more sporty like a

When you really step on the gas it flies, and the engine note is amazing. Braking is
also very good. However cornering in it has become less entusiastic, it seems to
unitentionally slide through turns. Build quality is great, the outward appearance is
great except for a scuff that i put on the bumper reversing into my driveway. Gas
mileage isn't amazing but it isn't exactly horrible for something its age (about 11

its a great SUV if u like big cars, and manages to have great
speed, looks nice in every trim on the market, the money
spend on repairs is minimun, and on the inside is really
comfortable, is a fun car to drive an manages very well

Nice driving, not good gas consumption. It jumps a little bit... but it is OK. Interiors are OK. Cost is relative high mostly because of the gas consumption. Is it fun to drive? hell yeah! high power, stamina, and level.Jun 29, 2009

Got the Pathfinder when my VW fell apart. It was an okay vehicle. Rode well, V6 power a little on the weak side, and it felt heavy, brakes had a hard time stopping it, actually got in an accident because of it.Apr 04, 2008

It is actualy a Nissan Narava but you don't have it in your options and i had to choose one, the closest being the pathfinder.
As I have only just brought this car and havn't taken it off road but I am impressed with it's street performance and fuel economy,
the outside look is great but the interior is a little ordinary - they definatly could of done a bit more with the astetics.Sep 08, 2007

I HAVE A REOCCURING TROUBLE CODE CLASSIFIED AS A PENDING CODE PO0447.I have scanned and cleared the code several times and the SES light stays off until it is restarted.

Turn the key, NOTHING.
Have to open door with the key- no keyless entry- No door chime, no dome light or horn - but jiggle with the gear shift (in frustration) and eventually all comes back to life. The radio presets are NOT lost! What is going on? One suggestion is "IP control module going bad". I have verified all battery cable connects are solid. Thanks
