I owned a Chrysler Concorde for 3 years and always found it very reliable and inexpensive to maintain. It is very roomy and the ride quality is excellent. If you don't mind the look and the cheap materials, it's great.Oct 31, 2012

Awesome handling and very smooth steering.
Very fast braking (80-0 in 3 sec)
3.5L, V6 Engine giving 230 HP
Extremely solid and well structured body.
Beautiful looks and detail all around.

The car is big, but it's comfortable, like driving a couch. It has decent fuel mileage when driving like a normal person, stable at speeds of up to 108mph, then it shuts off due to it being governed. Add the E-brake and some snowy parking lots, and its a blast due to its length. Jan 21, 2010

its factory engine, it need minor repair but it holds up fine i love it, t looks the way it does just got 20" on it, the pice is none of your interest but the gas mileage is ok for t not that expense if no big rims on it.Dec 15, 2009

transmission wont shift out of first gear
2004 concordeTransmission is full but does not shift out of first gear. No lack of power so I don't suspect catalytic converter. I'm thinking screen in pain. Any other ideas???????

Why does my transmission throw me out of gear when I stop?
I own a 2004 Chrysler Concorde LXi 6 cylinder. Recently after driving the vehicle for several minutes, upon coming to a complete stop, the transmission throws itself into low gear (so I think) and refuses to shift back up. I literally have to pull over, throw in park and shut the vehicle off. Once I start it again it will stop for a couple minutes. I have no idea why could cause this. I'm getting a normal fluid reading but code reader is giving me a code for transmission pressure. Any advice would be great. It's a high milage vehicle and wasn't well taken care of. 213,000 miles.
