Too many broken things to list but heres a short list. Broken hood latch, broken hood prop, lots of rust, broken window track, misfires in engine, bottom end engine tick, 7 DTC codes Vehicle will not pass emissions with those codes, broken interior peices. Random DIY wiring an switches added bad work done, frame damage reported, low quality body repair from reported accident Sep 09, 2023

great truck, should have continued to produce, but cost reduced, price new was about $50K. that was in 2003. If you can find one in the price range of $25-$35K buy it. they only produced about 19,000 through 2005. 3000 went to canada, several thousand went to other countries and by now 2000+ have been totaled/junked. They are cheap now and will only go up in valueMay 20, 2015

Very limited production during 4 years from Chevrolet from 2003 thru 2006. Great looking fast sporty automobile. Great resale value with only 2 front seats which makes it even more sporty. Super nice Bose stero system. Great handling and braking system on the SSR.Jul 06, 2013

Beautiful ride to go out on the weekends with the top down, enjoy the breeze, the view, and the powerful feeling from it's 5.7L V8. Slick interior, loaded with leather, full powers and a premium sound system. What a blast.Oct 23, 2012

The Folding hard top takes up much of the Passenger & Cargo space. It could have been the Modern el Camino. I like most everything about the SSR. If Dodge had built the Cooperhead. The competion wold have been stiff. Love MY SSR especialy because she is Redline Red & Top down reminds me of my Carrer as a Fire Fighter. The trucks we had were topless.Nov 20, 2011

Extreme high quality in and out.
Not practical, but it is a two seat convertible pickup!
Mine is fast, but the 6.0L is much faster.
Handling is superior, brakes last forever.
Recommend highly, but get the six liter six speed.May 10, 2009
