i am currently 17 and i have a 2003 S/C nissan frontier. i love the truck and it has plenty of power, but i am looking for more SPEED AND POWER as Jeremy Clarkson would say. and the eaton M62 supercharger that is in it now is great but i am looking for an upgrade. Any thoughts?
My engine spits and sputters when at idle, when going at low speed it hops and I wind up the motor to make it not hop. When coming to a stop it dies and have to restart it
I have heard mixed reviews about putting cold air intakes on supercharged vehicles, however I think I might have found a way around it but I need more information! To my knowledge you should use plastic piping instead of metal as not to retain as much heat which would defeat the purpose of having a cold air intake. keep the air filter as far from the engine as possible to suck in more COLD air. using plastic piping and afilter as far away asaway from the engine as possible on a supercharged vehicle, and having as little bends in the tubing as possible to produce better airflow, wouldn't that make a cold air filter usable? (the picture provided is the same, but not my truck)
