Clutch pedal sticks to the floor
About 4 months ago I was coasting to a stop with the pedal pushed in. As I went to pull away the pedal didn’t return. It only happened again when I had the clutch pushed in for awhile. Stopped driving took it to a friend who’s been a mechanic for years. He couldn’t recreate the problem and suggested I might have a fluid leak going back into the master cylinder. No leaking fluid on Slave or master cylinder, plus fluid level was fine. Started driving again and had no issues. Well I moved to Texas 1,200 mile drive and had no issues. Went to leave for work a couple days ago and The pedal stuck to the floor again. No big deal when it happened before I would just turn my car off pull the pedal up with my foot and it would be fine. But now it just stays on the floor when I engage first gear. It might be worth mentioning it has happened while I’m shifting from 2nd 3rd or 4th but all I had to do was pull it up with my foot and it would be fine. Can someone give me any ideas? I’ve looked for answers everywhere but to no avail. Any ideas and help are appreciated. Also the car does still try and pull away even when the clutch is on the floor no clue if that means anything just thought I’d mention it
