Radiator leak & heater goes out at the same time. Thoughts?
My radiator started leaking and I noticed a few minutes later that my heater stopped blowing hot air, only cold. Is there a correlation here that might point to the root cause?

I love my Rodeo. It is paid off now for
several years and the maintenance required has
been minimal--oil/owners manual typical
recommended maintenance and tires every once in
a while. The four wheel drive is excellent in
winter. Plus it is a truck on a real frame not
some uni-body construction that all the
magazines rave about in the suburban SUV's.
Always reliable accept for the throttle
position sensor which was just fixed by
replacing the whole throttle body at the
dealer. Dealer says he sells a lot of throttle
bodies for these. Oh well I can spend a little
to keep her going--no car payments now for
several years. Never been off road so not sure
how it goes there but I would not hesitate--it

How to get timing back set
i have a 2003 isuzu rodeo with 2.2. it was running before i replaced the water pump but after all parts put back on it will not start. it will spin over but not fire. what marks on the the exhaoust cam gear do i line up with. One has a triangle with exhaust and another has intake and the ther is one more with a just a notch. Next question is the crank there is a small mark on balancer ( which location should that be at the 6 12 or 1 oclock postition

When car is cold, starts right up. often after I start and turn it off a few times, going different places it doesn't want to start up right away. Time it takes varies to get it started. Sometimes 2 attempts.

Anyone solved the reduced power light and going to limp mode yet?
I am sitting at a stop light and the truck begins to idle rough then it goes into reduced power mode. I can floor it and get up to abut 25-30 down a slight grade. Computer codes are 401 (EGR i already know), 1295(loss of throttle position sensor 5 volt reference), 1516 (TAC module throttle actuator position). I love my Isuzu but the wife is making me get rid of it unless i can convince her I fixed it!
