This mid sized SUV is a very comfortable ride, but built to go the distance. It is fun to drive as it handles well. The vehicle has good power with a V6 engine; The downside of that being it is a somewhat of a gas hog. There is a great amount of space inside the Rodeo...lots of head room, leg room in front and back. The cargo area is huge, especially when the fold down seats are down. The rear door opens to the side making it easy to load.
I have always felt very safe in this vehicle. Drives great in snow and rain.

It drives well, but remember its a Truck, It handles well, but remember its a truck, It certainly went well thanks to the Prodrive button, and for a Truck it looked good too. Shame I had such mechanical issues, otherwise I would have rated it better.Feb 07, 2013

Lost a lot of oil and wont run now
I went for a long ride and park came back out to leave after about 2 hours and my 2004 isuzu rodeo wont start first i thought it was electrical or the battery but then it just turn over but it made a bad clnk sound and shout off and i havnt been able to get it on again so i tow it home i try starting it agoin this time when i shut it off i lost a lot of oil the funny thing is i still have oil in my car i thought i through a rod but there hasnt been any thing to give me that reason it would it only has 92000 miles on it i just bought this car from some guy what do i do its only been 21 days iv owned it . it has a 3.5l in it so it is really hard to find and expensive.

2004 Isuzu rodeo s 3.2 AT flexplate or flywheel
I've been looking for a flexplate for my auto transmission for a few days but recently was told that a flywheel is specifically used of both types of trans for this model. Can anyone help clear this up for me so I won't spend $90 on a flywheel I can't use?
