Nice car. Luxury and sporty. Has pretty good power. Drives great so far only had for week and a half. Pretty good on gas specially sens I was use to driving 4 cylinder cars the v6 3.5 does pretty good. Love it so far. Mar 29, 2022

If your looking for an import inexpensive luxury sports car, thats reliable, then this is it! It has a great feel and it"s even fuel efficient. It looks good enough for a night out on the town, but wont break the bank.May 22, 2012

Honestly, I find the I35 to be one of the better cars I've driven, and will probably one of the best I will ever own. It's got the awesome VQ35DE under the hood, very comfortable interior amenities, and sexy styling. The brakes are great, almost on par with Bimmer breaks.
However, I do have complaints. The car, despite all of its merits, is front wheel drive. The turning radius is garbage (maybe the FF bit would have some play in this?), and the stock sound system is pretty depressing. I have yet to replace the head unit, though. When I do, I imagine the quality will improve 10-fold-- It DOES have a bose sound system.
Also, you can get away with 89 octane fuel, but I got a little bit of knock at 87. Not great, but not the end of the world. I average about 21.3 (I love that MPG calc in the car), which ain't bad, I think. Especially not for 255 horses :)
Overall- if you find a good deal on one of these- pick it up. But, you might just be better off in a G35. If this car was a RWD and had a better turning radius, I would kill for it.May 20, 2009

Can i drive for a little time with bad sensors?
Ive got an 03 i35 with like 120,000 miles. Last week it was dying and I had to change out a camshaft position sensor and that seemed to work, no more problems starting and no more dying while running. The next day it starts to run kinda bad while driving and knocking a little. I was sure it had oil but i added a little anyway just to try something but no such luck. So I checked codes again and now it's throwing a crankshaft position sensor and also the throttle body sensor and is always running rough. Problem is ive got to drive it to work and back, about an hour drive, for at least a week before I'll have more money to work with. Im worried its gonna really mess up on the way to or from work and then the whole thing might be a lost cause. Any help will be appreciated. Ive been told I could try to clean the throttle body really well and that would help. Is there maybe an inexpensive way to keep going without causing further damage until ive got the money for these parts? And im thinking that even after i get these parts that by then i will have damaged another area. Thank you for reading and if youve got any advice id love to hear all of it.

Hey I just bought this 2003 infiniti i35 it was driving good until one day I left my car on and was charging my phone the car cut off I waited 20 mins to re start the car and it started right up then a week later it cut off again at a stop light I put car in parked and took keys out then waited a few mins to start it and it started right up. What could be the problem?
