Orphaned hose while replacing starter - 2002 infinity i35

Just replaced the starter on my i35 and it appears that there are two open hoses even though I only (purposefully) removed one. Any idea what this hose might be and what it might connect to? I've got some red spots on my pants that may be from this, so I'm wondering if it might be transmission related? The mystery hose is bottom one I'm pointing to in the photo.

Brakes light stay on without the brake swithch

Car won't accelerate when D or R.

2002 Infiniti I35, 190,000 miles.- Has been running great until late yesterday when I pulled into my driveway and the car wouldn't accelerate.- When the car is in P or N the engine will rev as expected.- When it is one of the Drive or Reverse gears, it moves at idle pace only. When I press the accelerator, the engine won't even rev.

2002 I35 - Slip, VDC OFF and Service Engine Light came on. What is causing it?

I've been reading all over the net. First thing that comes up is that there is most likely an issue with the brake fluid and/or that I need new brakes. Then I keep reading on. For the G35's, it states that it's an issue with the camshaft sensor and/or the camshaft itself. Are both models essentially the same? Should I be worried about the camshaft? Tonight, as I drove home, the car just stalled. It was weird. I waited a bit and started back up. I got to a gas station, bought brake fluid, added some, and got back on the road. It stalled again. After that time, I made it all the way home (an hour commute). This came on this past weekend but I hadn't had a chance to take it in any where. Any ideas? Any suggestions?

Car will not respond to gas pedal depression except when in park

This morning when I left in my car the brake and battery light was on so I stopped and turned it off and restarted to see if the light would go off but it didn't and when trying to restart it sputtered and died but on the second time it started right up and about a mile later I was stopped amd revved the engine and the lights went off but the car was driving fine. About 10 hours later the car started up just fine but when I tried to back up giving gas did nothing no rev no rpms nothing and same in drive but in park it revs so i turned it off and then it wouldn't start again it would turn over twice and then the noise would stop so I pushed it back into my parking spot and then it started right up first try but still wouldnt accelerate. The car has driven perfectly prior to today and has no other known issues. It does havw 220k miles. Any help would be appreciated!
