my 2002 g20 distributor is leaking oil.
how do I fix it? had someone tell that the proper way is to take the head off. is that right?

I sold my beloved turbocharged euro wagon at the height of the covid price inflation and found a 99 G20 with 50k miles. That was a year and a half ago now and I don’t regret it at all. Still driving it. The G20 is super dependable thanks to its simple drivetrain. It’s not quick at all, but it has very good handling and the suspension is slightly sporty. It has a sort of timeless look for a 90’s Japanese sedan. Leather interior, Bose sound system, roomy trunk. If you’re considering one and it’s in good shape I recommend 100%. I’ve only had to make repairs on wear & tear items, which are very cheap.Oct 18, 2023

I liked driving the car. Not on my list for cars to tune, but made a great daily driver. Great gas mileage, and its an Infiniti, if you take care of it, it lasts forever. Overall, a good buy as a daily driver. At least in 2002.Nov 02, 2009

Love the look of my car, AND the rarity of it. You don't often
see another one in your travels. I DON'T like the limited
space, not with two BIG kids! Thank God for our minivan. We
only use the car for errands, and for driving one kid

I drove this car for a little bit before my sister took it. Its a very solid feeling car, seats are beautiful - looks like a modern sports sedan. Unfortunately, engine looks pretty much the same as the ones they had in the early 90sMay 07, 2008

Loud rubbing noise from front drivers side wheel on 2002 Infiniti G20
I have a 2002 Infiniti G20 and its making a very loud rubbing noise from the left front wheel. It goes away when I apply the breaks and hit the gas, and its goes louder and faster with the acceleration of the car, but you can only hear it when you're not on the gas or breaks. I was thinking it could be a wheel bearing or a tie rod, but I'm not sure. The wheel doesn't rock or shake and their isn't a shake in the steering wheel. I was wondering if anybody on here had any ideas as to what it could be.

Low idle
I have a '02 Infiniti G20 with 121k miles on it. Recently it's been idling really low, even shut off on me when I moved from Park to Drive. Dad adjusted the accelerator a bit but he's wondering if it's the cold choke? I know very little about cars, but I've been banged over the head and replaced the brakes, rotors, tires, $700 radiator....Squeels when AC or heat is on and worse when accelerating too (probably need to change a few belts I've been told). I just can't afford to take it to a shop...what can I do for the idling situation? Right now when I start the car up (cold weather) I just hold the gas down a bit and let the car run for 5 minutes...let off and it still idles low but I'm able to drive. Help!
