I love my vehicle, I did purchase this brand new and it had a high price tag.
The is a very reliable Car and built strong. The only MAJOR issue: RUST on
outside body...this is a MERCEDES and so disappointed that this company does
not and is not willing to rectify this situation. This car was always GARAGE KEPT

This is my third Benz; I like it very much. While it is over a decade old, the previous owner was very good about care and maintenance so it is in very good shape. It is a high-end luxury car so the power and handling isn't what you'd expect from a sports car but it moves when it needs to and it handles very well, especially with the 4-wheel drive. I used to commute quite a ways every work day and it made that a pleasant experience; now if it could only do something about the other drivers on the road, it would be perfect!
Oddly enough, it is often a boring experience; there just isn't a lot of tweaking and fiddling with controls to do. You mostly set things and they just work. Lots of nice little touches that are now standard on lesser cars (interior lights that fade out; exterior lights that stay on a bit so you can see your way, dual zone climate control, etc.).
I was wary of the "new" styling but I really like it now; the current crop of Benzs look like the standard melted jelly beans.

I drive about 400 miles each and every week. This car has been faultless in every way. Mileage is around 30 MPG freeway. Very comfortable and the amenities are well thought out and actually useful. I bought this as the second owner and now have about 115,00 miles on it. The TV commercial with the big baby which turns out to be the guy's car, makes complete sense to me...I really understand how someone can truly feel so good about their automobile. So far there are no dislikes. The ride is so impressive, you really think your driving a smaller sports car not a family sedan. The power is a bit scary at first. I have driven american muscle cars before but THIS TAKES IT to the next step. It handles like no other car I have driven including the Porsche 928. MB got it right with this AMG.Sep 20, 2013

I bought this car from a dealer in 2004 after it came in from a 3 year lease and have been very satisfied with my purchase. Truly the best car I've ever owned. People have been asking me for the last five years when I plan on buying a new car because they want to buy this one, and I've finally decided that this is the year to upgrade. I'm still very happy with my 430, and it only has 150k miles on it, but after 9 good years it's served its purpose.Apr 19, 2013

What makes this car different from the others is the fact that it has a body kit. Which includes, front, sides, and back. With a black roof, and HID lights it will make it stand out from any other Benz. This car is awesome to drive for relaxation or for fast and furious fun. Mar 13, 2013

3rd owner. bought from local dealer. car looks like new. bought 8 months ago. no problems so far. Mostly like classic styling, comfort, and sold ride. More expensive operate obviously with higher grade gas, synthetic oil. 99K miles at this point. Mar 04, 2012

Bought my E55 AMG 2 years ago with 62K miles. Replaced all belts, fluids, spark plugs, engine mounts, a seal, etc...Since then it's only needed gas, oil and Tires. This car is a beast!! Unbelievable power, very aggressive look, Great gas mileage for what it is (drove from Houston to Florida at 80-100 mph and averaged 25.8 mpg!!! If you find one, invest in the up front preventative maintenance and enjoy!! I highly recommend this vehicleMar 28, 2010

I rate E-Class as one of the best in the line up.
Only problem I had was corroded engine cover
(kompressor).
And it's road handling is marvellous. Fuel

used 5 years ago, have only had 2 minor mechanical repairs
and regular maintenance (brakes, tires, oil chg). Very
comfortable to drive, V6 with plenty of power and 28mpg

After commuting over50 miles a day, leaving the house early in the morning, It was a must to invest in a comfortable-sporty-looking car and it's performance. Many of my closest ones thought the car was only for seniors and older folks. But after a few upgrades and many hours spent working on the car, necks sure started turning on most people. The majority of upgrades came from a danish company. I bought/rebuilt/put on and invested in following products: custom made front bumper and front lip by Kleemann, upgraded clear headlights with 10000K HID, upgraded fog lights with HID, Kleemann grill, custom license plate, Kleemann airfilter, custom made airbox + intakes, Kleemann shocks and lowering springs, rear trunk wing by Kleemann, cross-drilled disc brakes, upgraded brake caliper, Kleemann full exhaust + sport cat molded on by Ferrita, Kleemann HP increase chip with replaced Lysholm compressor, 19" Brabus wheels with Pirelli Sport tires, full tinted windows, repainted side skirts, rear sensors, 2 LCD flip screens in the backseats, indash car stereo with 4" LCD screen, 9' LCD screen above the stereo. 3-way DLS speakers upfront, 4 Rockford Fosgate in the back, DLS genesis amplifier, Sony 8" sub built in the glove dept. Overall, a fun car! Advise: Do not hit the gas while the ESP system is disabled, especially while taking a turn off the freeway ramp. Lesson learned. Okay, okay. Anything to get back to the game. I drive a silver MB E320 cdi avantgarde which in my view is the best E class built. tremendous performance for a saloon car which when you look at it looks like an ordinary car. Next best thing to an E55 (forget the E63, too expensive and only half as fun as an E55). However for what is now considered silly money you can get my car with upto 40mpg and cracking performance.Oct 20, 2008

Appearance...Basic Benz but quality. Looking into fixing AMG rims, tint the windows, crystal halogen lights...
Cost of ownership - Mileage 45000 kms, maintainance monthly at Mercedes Benz Authorized dealers
Fun Factor - I turn my peers heads coz I'm young and drive a big whip, I am now handesome to some class of ladies....sad

I owned a 2001 E320 and drove it for four years before trading it in. the car was quick from the start and performed very well. I had to constantly replace the brake lamps and turn signal lamps about every two months which was frustrating. All parts of course are very expensive. I had to replace the right and left side catylic converter which each one was a $1,000.00 each including labor.Jan 21, 2008
