2001 Chrysler 300M Preview summaryImage

Chrysler added several new features and options to the full size 300M. Steering wheel audio control were now standard equipment. The rear end of the sedan was redesigned, now including clear lens taillights and dual chrome exhaust. New 17-inches wheel and and aluminum window trim added to the exterior look, and additional interior and exterior colors became available. The 300M was now offered with a luxury group package which included real wood trim and auto-dimming mirrors. The 300M would house the same engine throughout its life: a 3.5 liter V-6, which was built specifically for use in the LH platform sedans like the 300 and the Intrepid. The engined was paired with a for speed automatic transmission, but Chrysler offered the AutoStick for that surrogate manual feel. The 253 horses powered the 300M from 0 to 60 mph in 7.8 seconds. Many of the reliability concerns attached to the earlier model now seemed to be diminishing. However, build quality was still an issue. Many of the repairs were directed to small inconveniences like power failures and temperamental electronics. Most of these problems were reports by drivers who had crossed the 50,000 mile mark.

You don't see this car around, the mileage is super super low for the age of the car. and the condition of the car is far exceeding "excellent" very rarely you can find a car this clean with this low mileage. the buyer was very very please with their new found treasury. Jun 10, 2013

I loved this car, I still regret selling it. The stock wheels that came with the car really added a nice look to it. it was luxury at an affordable price. The power of this car actually surprised me. The car would dust my escape in a race. A lot of power and weight. I miss you 300m :(Aug 17, 2012

All around great car. Very comfortable seats for long or short trips. Heated seats are great and fast acting. This car is great for long trips. Very little fatigue compared to most cars. visibility is good. Car is well thought out for maintenance, easily accessible repairs. Mar 20, 2012
