This is the 2,0 16V Twin Spark 150 bhp
It has all the equipment I want - Dual zone climate control - Cruise control - Fog
lights - Armrest etc.
I just put a new JVC cd-player with usb input in it.
Just bought it to use in the winther while my spider is in it´s caveNov 27, 2013

Engine is not very powerfull, bet it's enough for a car like this. 118 BHP and a lot of torque is hell good for this Alfa. Beside good diesel engine (1.9 JTD) it has and perfectly balanced suspension. It's hard but also comfortable in same way. This Alfa take corners slightly and stsble. Very fun to drive. Acceleration is also pretty good. Driving in city conditions this car leaves behind lot of others same class cars. It also has good brakes, but only if surface isn't bumpy.
Interior is sporty and good looking. It's also functional, but not very well build. Some parts are ckracking. Some panels are made from not very good plastic and if it's not leather interior, the material isn't best for cleaning. So leather interior is better choice. But all in all, interior is nice place to be and most of materials are quite good. In front it's enough space for driver and pasenger, but on back seats it's not very comfortable. Not enough space for legs. Taller pasengers wont feel comfortable on back seats.
It's good looking car - like all Alfa's. Original Alfa Romeo front grills, small front and back lights and back door handles make this car look very sporty, but not brutal. Interior is also sporty. Not big and very nice steering weel, sporty gear box and sporty seats. It's stylish and sporty looking car.
Now it's ten years old and cost not very much. For about 2400 Eu you can get diesel engine and a lot of accesories. It's very econnomical so wont take last money from your wallet in a gas station.
Is it fun tu drive - hell YES!! Nov 07, 2011

These are quite quick, great handling and good looking. The interior is loaded with
fancy extras, it's just a shame not many of them worked; aircon broken, satnav
broked, windscreen wiper sensor broken, the list goes on. The main let down is the
gearbox though, I had two replacements after the first lost 2nd and reverse, and
neither of them worked properly either. In the time I owned it over half was spent
in the garage being fixed.Mar 01, 2011

Acceleration is pretty good for this class of car, it brakes really efficient. The handling is good but honestly i would prefer if it was rear wheel drive because of the oversteer.
Build quality is always a issue with the Alfas:) Good materials on the interior, but kind of crappy electronics.
I think that interiors and exterior are both exeptional and far exceed every other car in this class.
It's a pretty economical car- it does around 6 liters for 100 km. Maintenance i think is a bit more expensive for a hatchback.
It isn't a racing car but it is fun. Especially on deserted mountain roads:)May 06, 2010

Alfa Romeo 147 T-Spark is an extremely high performance but the manufacturers spent more time in the lab than actually building the car.Acceleration Braking and handling is 'spot on' but you end up digging deep into your pockets with every trip to the dealers. Mine is customised on 17s''. Watch out for the 149.Oct 08, 2009

Lovely car to drive , great acceleration and handling, build quality not so good, there was constantly some error popping up on the dash mostly due to dirty sensors. An Alfa is a beautiful car but not built for the roads in Ireland and parts were so expensive it seemed to be €500 everytime I lifted the bonnet. Still glad I had it and it was fun while it lasted. Good fun car. Typical Alfa, always something that needs replacing, but as I'm in the middle of replacing everything that needs replacing, in a month or two should be mint! Great to drive, handles really well and plenty of poke is delivered from the Twin Spark engine. Enough room and big enough for me at the moment.Sep 04, 2009

I loved this beautiful car. I had it for 3 years i think. I have allways been a great fan of Alfa Romeo cars. I never had any problems with the car. Made a trip to Spain with it. The 2 liter twinspark motor was strong and fast. Sold the car to my good friend Annelie who still has it. Aug 01, 2009

Loved this car! Very comfortable and wonderful to drive. Stunning to look at 5 door. Prone to the Alfa electrical glitches of course, so if you are considering Alfa you have to be prepared to love them quirkiness and all.Jul 30, 2009

What can I say its an Alfa, good to look at but things go wrong and very very expensive to fix. If you buy one make sure you have RAC or AA cover. But its half the fun, amazing performance and handling at great value, a true petrol head motor.Oct 12, 2008
