I was looking to buy a Lincoln LS when I found a used Continental. The car is an interesting hybrid of FoMoCo parts taking the 4.6L double overhead cam V-8 from the Mustang GT and connecting it with the front-wheel drive trans-axle from the Taurus SHO. Add a full-size body, extremely comfortable seats, and almost every luxury gizmo known and you have the Continental. I loved the car and was going to keep is a long time, until the Pontiac G8 came out (but that's another story).Aug 14, 2014

My car is wonderful, the handling of the car is excellent. The transmission is going a little so the gears stick when they change but once you get above 20 mph, it doesn't really happen. My car has never needed repairs except for the tires have been replaced. The car has no marks or scratches. The body and paint is in pristine condition. The gas mileage is 20 miles per gallon average. The maintenance doesn't have much of a dent on my salary. I love driving my car, it's fast and strong. The V8 is so awesome. Mar 30, 2009

I just purchased this from a private sale. It has 106,000 miles. It is equipped with all the Lincoln goodies but does not have heated seats on this model (which I miss, because my Saab had them). The V-8 has awesome accelleration for such a big car! The seats are plush and comfortable. From all the reviews I have read, most people are well pleased with this model. The car is streamlined and in my opinion it is very good looking. It is much larger than the Saab 9-3 I sold, so it will take some getting used to. With the front wheel drive, it should be good in the Michigan winters.Mar 11, 2008
