Where could air draft be coming from the roof area?
I can hear air draft coming from the roof area but I checked the sunroof but couldn't find any leaks

After several upgrades in 1998, this new Lexus LS 400 featured only minor changes to interior trim. A new engine and new transmission headlined the previous year's changes. Lexus had gradually added features and performance enhancements to their flagship sedan since its inception, but it would remain the same until a total redesign in 2001.
The new engine was a four cam 4.0 liter V-8, enhanced by a clever technology called Variable Valve Timing + intelligence. VVT+i supplied the V-8 with additional power, while lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. The 290 horsepower engine was again teamed with 5-speed automatic, working together to provide a very smooth transition from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds. The LS's fuel efficiency was rated at 19/25 mpg.
The rear wheel drive sedan was now available with a Vehicle Skid Control system, which helped to limit nervous moments when driving on slick roads and through tight turns. While the LS 400 was very quick, quiet, and smooth, its focus on comfortable cruising left some eager drivers disappointed. The interior layout and finish, premium Nakamichi sound system, and plush ride were all atop the list of favorite features.

recently bought LS400 base at 180,000 miles for $69K. So far it's just perfect, quiet, smooth, gear shifting is almost unnoticeable. i have yet to see how long the car will last and cost of ownership will be, but at this time it's just one nice luxury sedan like new i've ever driven.Jan 03, 2013

Great car more toys then you'd ever think possible extremely reliable, very fast and the most comfortable car in the world thats not a Maybach. oh and it goes like stink and can tow very well. And unlike Honda Legends etc it's RWD so actually handles a bit instead of massive understeer.Oct 27, 2011

Amazing car. Has Nakumichi stereo to die for. 29mpg on highway. Navi, 6 disk CD etc loaded. Love the power head rest etc. Could use more sporty handling around town. On highway there is nothing better. Amazing build quality and nothing broke or rattles. Everyone should treat themselve to one once. try one once. Added Michelin Artic Ice Xi2's and she does good on snow and ice.Apr 11, 2011

This was my favorite car. It has all the power you would want in normal driving. High Quality fit and finish even with 100k miles. The ride is very smooth and comfortable for everyone. Easy to drive and gets good highway gas mileage. Only issue is the cost of maintanence once you reach the high mileage stage.Dec 30, 2008

good performance for a car with 290HP. Seats 5 adults. Fuel economy could be better however its a V8. It's fun to drive. Steering is easy. Breaking is good. If maintaned properly it could last for a long while. I've had mine for 10 years ! Jul 14, 2008

Best Car ever. Bought an 8 yr old 1999 LS 400 and it drives like new. This car was manufactured with tons of options. Full size spare mounted on an alloy wheel? Wow. Awesome sound system. QUIET as can be. On a recent 400 mile drive, I loved every minute behind the wheel.Mar 25, 2008

I have a LS 400 and have had it for 5 years. I had to replace alternator like a year and a half ago. Now my car is doing same thing. Woke up other day battery light was on so i replaced the battery with a new one. It crunk up but then the battery light was still on. So i drove it to my family house and it continued to cut off on me. On the dashboard it says headlight leveling. Can anyone tell me what could it be?

Check engine
My check engine light came in for a day... then off. About a week later it came on again for a couple days and went off. I got it check at Autozone and it was code P0430 catalyst system efficiency, Bank 2. What should I do even though it went off? Am I good? Do I need to replace something? Trying to conserve $.
