The F-350 Super Duty 7.3 diesel is amazing. The truck had low miles for the year and was in great condition. I would have liked power door locks and windows, but it wasnt a deal breaker for me. Very happy with my purchase and I would put this truck against any of its major competitors. Great pulling power and very dependable truck that will hold its value. Smart buy!Jun 18, 2021

With a Banks Stinger Plus kit, pulling 24,000 lbs, set the cruse at 65 and relax. Without the Banks kit, race down hill and struggle uphill. With a 410 gear, it will pull anything but you may only get 5-8 MPGOct 13, 2014

it has a TS 6 position chip, before the chip it didnt have the power i was looking for, i haul gooseneck trailers almost everyday at my job, from skid steers to stock trailers and seed trailers, combine headers and service trailers this truck has to be reliable under the hardest seasons and it is a work horse.Jul 27, 2014

Very reliable truck at a fair price (1999) Always started when I needed it to. I wouldn't even think about a Chevy, GMC or a Dodge for my next truck. Only problem is that a new ford costs over 40K....Jan 03, 2012

I really liked the truck. It was awesome to drive with tons of diesel power!great visibilty riding up high. I wish the fuel hadnt gotten so expensive! It was very fun to drive, and I will say I would have felt sorry for anyone getting into an accident with me. The massive leafspring suspension front and rear was like a giant tonka truck. 7.3 turbo diesel auto works great, for a Big truck it drives very well and good fuel economy for what it is. Can full anything you can hook behind it, even chevs. Tons of interior room and the leather is so comfy.Oct 03, 2010

6 speed manuel 7.3 diesel the real powerstroke runs like a champ fun as hell to
drive interior grey cloth with vinyl floors black exterior with chrome a headache
rack black toolbox chromed out decent fuel milage for its size long box 1 ton

Awesome truck tons of power ( still getting chip... hopefully soon) good maual trans, lots a room but little tricky to manuver sometimes being 22ft long, rides surprisingly well for a 1 tone truck and dually to boot, would recommend to anybody... powerstroke! Mar 28, 2010

it was BIG, white and fast. it was so fun to blow the doors off imports. it handled a tad better than my expedition, had better take off, but didn't have the top end pull. it got better gas milage than my expedition, but not quite as good as the f-150. Oct 16, 2009

I love this truck! its a auto so theres no shifting. however its an early 1999 so it has some previous model parts that was on the 1997 7.3 which was disconued in late 1999. but mine is straight piped with a napa 6637 intake air filter. so the turbo screams and has power when i need it and still gets 15+- mpgOct 02, 2009

I love my 1999 F-350 Diesel. It has all the power i need an it also has an Edge Juice box power chip. The truck is like one of my kids i can go from day to day with out it. I would say it is the greatest thing i have bought.. FORD ALL THE WAY... POWERSTROKE Sep 15, 2008

Driving the truck is quite nice in my opinion. You sit up high and have excellent visibility. The truck doesn't handle very well at all, as a result slow wide turns are necessary. Accelerating on a freeway ramp is a rush. The turbo spulls up and pulls you back in the seat as the speedometer climbs rapidly. Freeway cruising is smooth, but the rugged tires howl as you go down the road. Braking, like the handling, isn't quite up to par. The interior is nice and spacious as long as you're riding up front. The back seat is cramped and becomes uncomfortable if the ride is much longer than 20 minutes. The captains chairs up front are comfortable and supportive. Overall I love this truck a lot. It works well for what I do, but if you're needing a vehicle for pulling and you need to fit you're family in the truck, I would recommend that you opt for the four-door version or the diesel powered excursion.Feb 21, 2008

The 8L Powerstroke Deisle engine will do any work on the farm and won't let you down. I would say this one ton truck (F-350 Super Duty) is the best truck on the market.Jan 05, 2008
