We have a 98 Oldsmobile Bravada. We were driving down the road and all the gauges went haywire and then the whole thing just died. When u try and start it, u can hear the fuel pump kick on but it won't start up. When it does start up all the gauges work and when it won't start up nothing works. Whats going on with this thing? My husband is great with mechanical work. He said it's not the fuses and not a bad ground.
It won't start or crank. I turn the key and it does nothing even while trying to jump start.

My black ground wire to my negitive side to my battery burnt so I replaced it now when I hook the positive side wires to my battery it Sparks bad what do I need to look for to fix that so I can hook my battery up and start my truck I have a 1998 Oldsmobile bravoda please help me I need to get my truck fixed asap
