love it! runs well even though its old! it does not have the "coolest" look but it runs well. it has held up for me. The paint peels a lot, i had to get it repainted. Overall great, reliable car.Oct 14, 2009

My car has over 235,500 miles on it and still runs like a champ, it has needed very few minor repairs, most just preventive maintenance. It is also a lot of fun to drive for a 4 cylinder. Over all, a very nice car. Jan 30, 2009

Car is junk as are all ford mid-size sedans of the era. Car is solid and will last a while and is a great car for your first car. Can be had cheap but parts are exspensive, Cheap on gas ( $40 to fill the tank in Newfoundland). I love this car.Oct 15, 2008

The Mystique, or "Mistake", has always been a problematic car. Most owners complain about frequent repairs after only 3 years. However, the rest have nothing but praise for their cars. The car was discontinued in '99 which means if you see a Mystique on the road, it's not one of those "Mistakes".Aug 20, 2008
