This car is based on fords panther platform. The same as police and taxi crown vics. Car is indestructible and problem free. Maintenance cost are historically low. Nov 03, 2022

Simple put the Lincoln Towncar is the best riding, most reliable car on the planet! I am on my third one and from a maintenance perspective it’s only oil changes, brakes, battery. The air ride suspension is the only pain point but thst can be converted. Great car - not a performance car but a smooth riding luxury car!Dec 04, 2020

See above. Acceleration when needed. Big reliable 4.6 V8 engine. This car had 120400 miles on it when I bought it a year ago. It has 124000 now. I just drive the TC on nice weather days. Car shows. Long rides. Not in the city.Mar 22, 2014

L:ove everything about them, hate that they do not make them anymore. I do hope that Lincoln brings back the Town Car some people like a good large car I hope That Ford and GM go back to what American's like and not what European's Like. It was quality that made people look to Jap and Euro cars not styling, that is why they buy our stuff including old large cars LeoMar 10, 2014

This is a beautiful car for cruising. I love riding with the family in this and going to the Drive in. Great for long trips because it is very quiet and has a smooth ride and has been very low maintenance. May 15, 2012

I like the reliability of this car. I can jump in it and cruise off into the sunset at any time, with the gas card in my pocket. It does require frequent trips to the gas station if you are in the city driving. When you get it on the highway, it will make you forget all about the gas station, though.Aug 29, 2011

I've just owned the car a month...but I'll say this you can tell your driving a car thats got a touch of class..just the sound the doors make when they close is different so far I love it. I drove grand marquis for years, great car but there not lincoln town cars.Now that being said I put some inital money into the car and know that they can get expensive to maintain but I'm trying to keep ahead of the curve. my 6th town car and is by far the best one yet. the improvements made in ride, handling and quietness is astounding. The interior is much improved too, seats are better, sound system is better and driving angle/site line is better than the previous model.Mar 29, 2011

One may think this car is over sized and just plain too much, but the shocking thing about this V8 is that it gets 25+ miles to the gallon even with the 225,000 miles I have put on it. It has fantastic curb appeal when you pull up to a clients home, and is spacious enough that when you take that run to the airport to pick the team up they all fit (with their luggage).Feb 13, 2009
