When I turn the car "on" in aux position the wipers /radio comes on, but once I start the car up put it in gear and proceed to driving neither the wipers or radio comes on or work ? All fuses are new so I don't know what could be the reason !

I have a 97 Nissan Quest whose headlights came on when I turned on the ignition but didn't turn on the headlights. Then they wouldn't go off when I turned the ignition off. They also wouldn't go off when I turned the headlight knob on and back off again. Anyone?
I've had this van for 20 years. Recently, the security alarm goes off for no reason as my van sits in my garage locked. If I'm not home to stop it, the battery runs dead. Can you tell me how to permanently disable the security system? I would rather not have it at all, than to have my battery keep going dead.
