the car overheats and i have no check engine light on. performance is great for an old car when its not giving me a wide range of problems. My model came with the government issued CNG components which are not functional at the moment. it would be great to get it fixed but unfortunately the cost of fixing the CNG would cost about 3 times the worth of car itself :(

January 31, 2008Despite being a lowly GL ATX I4, this car was fun to drive and very comfortable. The build quality was somewhat mediocre, and reliability was overall good, but the CD4E ATX seems prone to catastrophic failure, and there are some well-known issues with the car.

September 27, 2009FOrd big mistake. Great car to start on but would keep for a long time
April 26, 2008It just has a 4-banger 2.0L 65,000 miles on it. It runs alright but, we got a motor swap, same motor & tranny. the motor died at 50,000 miles. Its not to fun to drive. Runs good tho. The interior smells like smoke and the rear pass. window leaks. pretty good gas mileage and needs new rear shocks & struts
