It was plugged in all night due to cold in morning it just made a tink sound and nothing.

This truck has got to be the best and most powerful truck i have ever owned. Everyone says they wish they could get one, because they see what kind of power it pushes out. An the dodge line up has awesome turning radius.Nov 20, 2012

Love almost everything about it! Easy upgrades for performance! Not all computer controled! Great body style and lots of power stock, not a fast truck,it keeps the speeding tickets down and i can do most of the work on it!!!Jun 09, 2010

Truck has awesome performance, it will pull a mountain. It is not however built for speed. Dodge Builds a decent truck and that coupled with the Cummins makes it a great truck. There are some things in the interior that I prefer the newer truck over mine but overall the interior is nice. The exterior I think looks great, it has a "big rig" look that I love. It is incredibly fun to drive, there's nothing like mashing down on the pedal and being pressed back into the seat as you hear the turbo whine!Aug 08, 2009

Great truck. Has a V10 in it which has awesome power and dependability. The inside of the truck is very comfy and has great features. The truck is a dually so it can haul big loads if needed to or just tool around town for fun an pleasure. Great truck overall.Sep 23, 2008

1997 Dodge Ram 3500 8.0L V10 starring issues
I’m throwing the book at this truck and running out of ideas. Bought the truck 2 months ago, have since done plugs and wires and a fuel pump. Fuel pump was just changed last week. Up until yesterday the truck was running, but at an idle the rpms would fluctuate. Started driving down the road and truck acted like it was falling on its face when I stepped on the gas. Truck stalled out and hasn’t started since. So far things I’ve checked are: there is spark at all the plugs fuel pressure at the fuel rail is 40 in the on position and 50 while trying to start. used a noid light on the rail and the injectors are getting signal used an ohm reader and tested the crank and cam sensors. According to what I’ve read they are on a 5amp circuit and should read at about 5 amps dropping to just above zero when starting. Both do just that ASD relay is good All fuses seem to be good Disconnected the battery for 20 min to drain system I’ve run out of ideas, can use any advice I can get! Thanks in advance!!!

My 1997 Dodge 3500 diesel cranks right up. But when I let go of ignition switch the engine cuts off immediately. I have already replaced the ignition switch with no change in problem.

my truck won't start.
I have a 1997 dodge ram, I have been trying to start it up but it wont go. I have a new starter and batteries are semi new, am thinking it's because it's cold? But I've been trying for about 30mins and nothing.
